Process

Due to their high flexibility, machines of the Fuzion platform are perfectly suited to handle manufacturing tasks in frequently changing production environments professionally at any time. Whether it’s high-speed chips, extreme odd-forms, 01005 components, large components up to 150 mm edge length, placement with 5 kg placement force, or components up to 30 mm tall – everything runs on the same platform with Fuzion.

The system offers up to 272 – 8 mm feeder inputs and a wide range of feeders including tape, reel, sticks, odd-form, and trays. Boards up to 1300 x 610 mm in size with an extremely wide range of components can be assembled and easily integrated into high-volume lines – an excellent choice for NPI (New Product Introduction) requirements and manufacturing with very high product variety.

By using the Dual-Beam architecture with two flexible high-speed heads, the machine can also serve as a high-speed multifunctional solution. The Fuzion platform supports a variety of configurations, reduces changeovers, and works without performance degradation with an unmatched wide range of components, including numerous special shapes.

Single-Beam models

The Fuzion Series is available in the following Single-Beam configurations:

Fuzion1-11 – A versatile insertion platform, perfect for special processes such as Pin-in-Paste, Flip Chip, and OFA.

Fuzion1-14 – With 2 Inline 7 spindle insertion heads.

Fuzion1-30 – Excellently suited for NPI environments with a high mix ratio and large board applications. Also a high-volume line booster.

Dual-Beam models

The Fuzion Series is available in the following Dual-Beam configurations

Fuzion2-14 – Class-leading multifunction system with fast insertion of an extensive range of components for applications where flexibility and performance per line length are important.

Fuzion2-37 – A true multipurpose platform. This is a versatile stand-alone prototyping solution, a flexible line balancer, or a powerful multifunction solution.

Fuzion2-60 – Flexible high-speed productivity for medium-volume environments. A powerful line booster solution or high-performance small parts placer.
