This is a non-contact jet valve with which the smallest quantities can be applied reliably.
The Select Coat SC-280 coating valve produces a defined curtain without any spray mist! This is made possible by a specially shaped cross-cut. The curtain width can be adjusted accordingly by applying different pressures and can be controlled using the optional Closed-Loop laser measuring device.
The SC-280 offers very precise edge definition combined with extremely high coating speed.
In combination with the Viscosity Control System (VCS), in which the material is conveyed with a circulating, heated and closed coating system, the result is a precise and reproducible coating.
The Swirl Coat Applicator Series consists of the SC-350 Select Spray Valve and the SC-300 Multi-Mode Valve. The series is characterised by an extremely wide range of applications, which supports a wide range of viscosities. The “Four-Position-Tilt” option allows the valves to be tilted so that even “shaded” areas are no problem.
The SC-300 has three different, software-switchable operating modes: bead, monofilament and swirl mode. The valve is optimized for atomizing media, delivering exceptional edge definition and thin, uniform coating thicknesses at higher speeds.
Industry trends towards miniaturization of PCBs and increasing PCB density continue to grow. The SC-450 offers high selectivity, small volumes and high repeatability.
The SC-450 High PreciseCoat applicator is ideal for jetting narrow conformal coating lines while providing accessibility to higher components with a wider viscosity range than previous applicators. The valve is designed for coating small substrates, substrates with high component density and situations where “keep out zone” (KOZ) compliance is essential.
Small volumes and improved material control enable line widths of up to 1.5 mm. Coating edge accuracy eliminates the need for masking. The valve enables a coating process close to large components on a PCB.
Different dot sizes can be dispensed from the same applicator, enabling small volumes with good volume control.
