Designed for the largest circuit boards, Ruby XL enables non-destructive inspection of areas up to 96 cm x 67 cm with a feature resolution of up to 0.5 µm.
With the Ruby XL from Nordson, we offer you the optimal solution for large circuit boards. The maintenance-free and enclosed Nordson NT X-ray tube with 0.5 μm feature detection and up to 10 W target power, together with the 3-megapixel CMOS flat panel detector with long lifespan, covers all tasks of fault analysis and manufacturing in electronics production.
A vertical system configuration, where the X-ray tube sits beneath the isocentric “Move and Tilt” of the detector and everything is controlled through simple, joystick-free “Point and Click” operation, provides a secure, collision-free, and highly magnifying inspection necessary for production applications. All these tasks can be automated easily and quickly from the Nordson Wizard software, without the need for programming skills.
The X-Plane and joystick control are offered as optional upgrades.
