The company’s own Vaculoy process produces alloys with lower viscosity and reduced dross content. The result is a high-purity solder alloy that is free from moulded-in impurities and trapped oxides.
This proprietary process step prior to casting results in the following advantages:
ALPHA SnCX Plus 07 is a silver-free, lead-free alloy that can be used as a replacement for SnPb, SAC305 and other SAC alloys with low silver content in wave soldering, selective soldering, pre-tinning and rework processes.
This material has been developed to minimise dross formation and copper dissolution compared to silver-containing alloys.
It significantly reduces total cost of ownership without compromising soldering and reliability performance on simple to moderately complex assemblies.
